I have been using my Pro300 MKII for about a year, but recently it has been exhibiting this aggravating behavior:

When I play back a CD in SINGLE mode, instead of stopping at the end of the track, the player slips part way into the following track. This usually causes some kind of "click" that turns out to be the beginning of the next track.

Is there some sort of "drift" or "alignment" setting that I can use to fix this?
