8-1-05 Monday
21640 Well guys I'm sad to say I had to send my Velocity in for repairs today. I'm hoping for a speedy turn around. It had 3 yellow leds out and both drives would no longer eject. I have had these unit sense 12-30-03 and these are the first problems I have had with them. Anyone else have any of the Leds go out? |

Well they got it on the 5th. From what the guy said it should be checked out by today the 12th.
So far so good AA. |

UPDATE:
The V was fixed on 8/11/05 and was shipped on 8/12/05 (friday)oh and it takes 5 days to ship from me to them. Seems to me the service round hyar is damn good. |

Did they upgrade it for you also. I heard that the older Velocity needed to be upgraded to perform better when using CD-R's.
I am encountering that when I change the pitch when using a CD-R the pitch does not change back down/up. I have not taken it in yet, not enough down time and my back up unit does not have the effects that the "V" has.... I have to wait. |

My Velocity has never had problems reading CD's. |

Adam,
When you call tomorrow, ask for Ernie and refer him to this thread. Let him also know that it was just in, and your old RA# so he can see what was done. He will make sure you are taken care of. |

Man you guys wont believe this ****. The on new Velocity they just sent me the left player is all static sounding and skips like crazy!

They sent me another new V and everything works great. I have to say I have never gotten such great service from a company before. These guys spent at least 250.00$ in overnight charges. So much for the profit they made on me. Sergio and Ernie(spelling?) are some of the nicest service people around!!!!!!! To all the people that said they got bad service YOU MUST HAVE ACTED LIKE A$$E$ WHEN YOU CALLED |
