I found a Swiffer works good. Or you can use a slightly damp cloth, not soaking wet. NEVER spray liquid directly on the jog wheel!

Make sure the unit of OFF when you do this!

Windex works as well.

Just make sure you don't spray the cleaning solution directly on the unit. Put a light myst on a rag or paper towel. Then commence wiping. Also before having any type of liquid come in contact with an electronic device. Make sure you unplug the unit first.
