Bedroom DJ |
It appears that the front panel of my DCD-PRO300 MkII is not strong enough. I have the unit mounted in my rack with a space above, and nothing mounted below it and the front panel is not bent. IS this normal for this unit? Normally I would think a rack mounted product like this should have enough strength in the front panel to hold up to normal DJ use.
What can be done? Dave |

Hi Dave,
There are literally thousands of DCD-PRO300's out there and this is the first time I have ever heard of this. The front panel is thick enough and we have not had a issue with this. Could someone have set something on there? Could it have seperated from the steel housing behind it, that is critical to keeping the face rigid. Does the lid rub on it? Thanks Tom |

I find with some equipment even high end amps and such, just driving a couple of screws into the back of the rack where the back end of the equipment will sit is enough to support the weight in the back of equipment. I hope you understand.
