'sup all, I just purchased a used PS2 (GREAT product) and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the "Instructional Video" for it.

Also, my unit is also missing the clear plastic ring around the platter. What is this for and do I really need it?

The clear ring is so you can use the platter to adjust effects, or do some pitch bending while in scratch mode. I never used it when I had my PS2's. It's personal preference.

hmmm...i dont think the jog wheel adjusts the effects...thats what the time and ratio knobs are for...the plastic ring is so u can pitch bend while in either one of the scratch modes...it keeps the music from stopping.

Actually DJJR if you put the hold button on and then adjust the pitch with the jog wheel it will work that way. If you put the player in scratch mode and cleverly use your fingure nails you can speed up the platter this way without stopping the cd. The platter works from warmth/touch. You'd be surprised what those little babies can do. I can pitch bend in scratch mode with the jog wheel. You can do it with the right touch or lack of...... Cool
