hey guys.... i've had my cdi for at least a month now.... and yesterday i noticed that the scratch function was playin up....
like.... during a scratch session.... the indicator will just freeze for a split second and then jump forward and i'll find myself scratching on a different part of the sample..... like having a needle skip/jump on vinyl.... this happens once every 5 minutes during a sraight 20 minute scratch session...(it doesnt skip if i just scratch for a short time) and it might not be a big deal.... but i juss wanna know if this might be a symptom of a bigger problem.....
if not.... then i think its because i scratch too much... and the poor thing is trynah tell me that it needs a "break"..GET IT!!..."break"...u know... "break"... aaahhhh forget it Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Big Grin Big Grin

That would happen, because the memory buffer is running out. That's kind of funny since the memory buffer seems to be faster on the CDI's than the PS2's, and I couldn't even do that to a PS2....lol That's some serious scratching. Razzer

The only way the memory should be going down is if you are scratching and using the bop feature at the same time. I used to do that all the time. As you get better you will figure ways to scratch the paint off the walls and still have enough memory in your reserve. I did. Cool
