Hi,
I have been djing at small parties and house parties for a while using my laptop and dj software. I think I’m ready to move to cd players. I usually play progressive with minimal vocals, for this would I need a cd player that I could scratch with or the cheaper ones with jog wheels? Thank you for reading!
My setup would be American dj cdi-300s and a mixer

The CDI-300s would work for you. But, the CDI-500MP3 would be even better.

I would recommend a mixer that has low-mid-high filters on them, like the Q-D6.

My suggestion is to try out some decks hands-on before making a decision. You're the one using them, and only you know what will work and what won't work for you. We can only give you our jaded opinions.

Good luck.

I just picked a set of the Pioneer CDJ 1000 MK3
and the Pioneer DJM 600
I love them both. The CDJ 1000 MK3s are awesome.
