american audio cd players,very sensitive to voltaje variable,think,what your say? (sorry my inglish)

The ones with touch sensative platters are sensative to voltage drops and grounding issues, due to the fact the fact the platters need a proper electrical ground to function properly. Altough in the last 4 years I have yet to have an AA cd player completely fail due to electrical issues. I just lost scratch functionality for a gig.
