Does anyone have the new firmware available for the SDJ1 Player.. Called support and they said they would email me a copy but 4 days have went by and I haven't seen anything..

I've checked both the American DJ and American Audio websites and I can't find a single thing.. Also checked a number of the other popular DJ Chat Forums with no luck..

The unit reads "UPDATE UI" and wont allow the unit to be used at all. It is a major flaw and I really hope it gets fixed soon..

Well I have a few choice words for American DJ on Monday. I can't believe they would put an update on their site that would do this.. this is nuts, totally screwed up my gig last night!!!

Don't buy this unit, it's a piece of crap. They sent me two and both had the same problem

please help , im in a another town , the SDJ1 is dead with a "update ui" in the left display. No info info about the drivers life length, my god, is this firm serios????

This is last time i buy any american audio product.

Please call Tech support @ 800 322 6337 to get your problem resolved. I wouldn't give up on AA products, because you had an issue. Call tech support and they will be sure to rectify it ASAP.

thanks sir, I wrote an email to: American DJ Europe, and I got a driver update witch did not work. I spoke to another customer who had the same problem and also recieved the same "non working driver" (same version). ... so they knew the driver was bad , still they sent it to me ... ??

I do have nothing against updating drivers, but what about make the box not booting , and u newer know when it happends?? No info whatso ever. The SDJ1 stopped working in the middle of a gig, this has to to the worst case of stupidity ever.

Glad those engineers do not make aeroplanes......."shutting down engines, please update your driver" .

My problem is: Is this update issue the engineers little secret or is it the firms policy regarding updating of their boxes.

Do I know for sure that any of AA audioplayers might stop during a gig ???? How can I recommend these units to my friends ?? I dont know , no information anywhere.

New info.

Error is not due to "software update"

The error lies inside the box, and the software update message is a just cause of this internal error.

Later editions of SDJ1 will ( I hope) not have this issue.
