looking to buy the cdi-500s

but i just wanted to know if it is possible to do a BREAK effect on the cdi-500s? and if so...how?

any info would be appreciated. Smiler

The effect you would use is the "Skid" effect. That will give you the brake effect you are looking for.

You can also manually do a "break" effect, by setting your pitch range to 100% with master tempo off and use the pitch slider, or you can just backspin the jog wheel while not in scratch mode to give a break effect. I use these two methods more than the skid effect, since it gives you total real time control over the speed and duration of the break effect.
