looking to buy the cdi-500s
but i just wanted to know if it is possible to do a BREAK effect on the cdi-500s? and if so...how? any info would be appreciated. |

The effect you would use is the "Skid" effect. That will give you the brake effect you are looking for.

You can also manually do a "break" effect, by setting your pitch range to 100% with master tempo off and use the pitch slider, or you can just backspin the jog wheel while not in scratch mode to give a break effect. I use these two methods more than the skid effect, since it gives you total real time control over the speed and duration of the break effect.
