My friend wants to learn how to scratch. I was just wondering if any of you had some suggestions on a good, affordable pair of turntables.

Adrian,
What's the budget? I know where you can get some nice turntables for under $300/pair. I can't sell them to you directly through the forum, but you can always email me. Wink Big Grin

Adrian,
I have 2 TTD 2400 Direct-Drive Turntables & an XDM 200 Mixer(Probably Discontinued),those are what you should start out on just to get an idea of how to scratch, mix, cue, etc.
Altogether it cost AUD$300 (USD$150) for each of the Turntables & AUD$100 (USD$50)
for the mixer (separately)since I'm from Australia (Don't Criticize)& I'm an up-and-coming DJ so all up it cost AUD$700 (USD$350)
