Everyone dreams about success and being rich, but the truth is a lot of people will have to work hard to make a living.

One of the things we all like to do, is to travel and visit new places, but the question is, how do you get around the World, or to travel the World on a Budget.

There are several options:

1: Join the military. Travel the world on the government. See beautiful, exotic places. Meet fascinating people. And kill them.

2: Get hooked up on a touring show. They cover your costs and you also get paid. Circus, carnival, rock shows, you name it.

That's all I got right now.

You could try getting a job in Corporate Engineering with a major firm. I managed to see Canada and Mexico as well as a lot of the United States while I was with Miller Brewing.

Another option would be to get a job as a Service Representative or Sales. Those guys are always on the road. If you are not allowed to arrive early or stay over a couple days you could use your frequent flyier miles, etc. to return

Thanks for the tip, this is one of the most sensible advice I ever got. You get paid to travel around. I bit like having your cake and eating it. I love to travel.
I'll be heading to Ibiza Spain this Summer, to spend some time with friends, check out some clubs, and do the usual Summer stuff.

I was doing a lot of travelling for sales. Being self employed, that's what you gotta do sometimes.

I had to stop. I'd work up the sale, do the pre-consulting, figure out what was needed for the solution, submit a proposal, and then they'd shop it around to the lowest bidder.

I'd rather do the service jobs. Come in, fix a network and then invoice at $150/hour. Get a signature when you arrive and leave!

These days, better make sure your travels equate to money in your pockey. Gas is too expensive, so make it worth it!

thats a great insight, thank you. I had a family member who worked engineering for a major hotel.. his wife did consumer affairs for the same hotel. Every other weekend they would travel to a different one of their hotels and stay all expenses paid while she evaluated the customer service and he worked the maintenance of the facility
