iTunes is now available for download and use for Windows users. .99/song 9.99/Album. Visit itunes.com.

Napaster is supposed to be up and running on October 22nd I believe. same .99/song. Go to napaster.com, and they were running a special that if you pre-registered you would receive 5 free down loads.

It is finally becomming cheap, easy, and legal for us to get the songs we want.

FYI though, The law is still hazy though about using these services for DJ's. Frowner But for the Bed Room DJ's now you can get the songs you want, and not go bankrupt.

The Itunes are encoded at 128 in the AAC format, which is more like 160 mp3. Chris, ALL music you purchase is for personal use. CD's or Downloaded.

Support I was just about to say that. Of course except for Promo services like Promo Only, TM Century or ERG. If you play from anything else, technically you are breaking the law.

I think that itunes.com is a great way for people to get music legally. There's no monthly fee which is awesome because if you download 100 songs one month and only 2 the next you aren't paying extra money.

I know what Chris is saying...

There is a clause somewhere that states that you can't broadcast it and continued on to say some other stuff...

basically, no, i'm pretty sure your not supposed to...will that stop people??? of course not, but then again they can just get it off of P2P

Again this is more to what I was speaking of. We get alot of DJ's here who don't want to spend a fortune, but would like to start learning how to mix, scratch, and DJ. This would be a great alternative for those bedroom DJ's.

BTW everyone who mentioned about the clauses that state "not for commercial use". Have you ever looked at any of your store purchased CD's. They say the same thing.

Someone needs to define the real meaning of "commercial use."

It's all relative to who you are and where you stand.

iTunes's music store is all AAC (M4a, or MP4 Audio) encoded at about 128 kbps. AAC is better quality than MP3, yet smaller at the same time. If Apple came out with a Pro Store, we could all be better off.
