I've heard of DJ AM. I doubt I'd be a fan of his work, but with vacuous fans such as Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan, well, I guess he has a knack for entertaining the useless and annoying. I mean, someone has to, right?

The guy dies overdosing on drugs with a pill in his throat. Rumors say he was heading off to rehab. What, one last bender before the road to Wellville?

Celebrity or not, I guess that's all a matter of interpretation. Good or not? Again, subjective. Regardless, a known entertainer. Again, not a fan of his work. Regardless, Im rather annoyed that he died. I'm just intolerant of drug usage, and his abuse sets a bad example, as well as a good example. The bad example is he's got reputation and name and he used. The good part is still bad; the warning that drugs kill. Too bad he had to pay with his life to set an example. I would have prefered he made it into rehab and showed that "hey, drugs are bad, I got clean, you can too" sort of thing.

I get it when it comes to drugs. I don't use, but I've been in entertainment long enough to know all I need to know about it. I never have used, I don't even drink or smoke. I'm clean, unless you count candy... Hey, I ain't perfect either.

So, a lesson to all. Drugs are no good. Stay clean and sober. The costs are not worth it because you WILL pay with your life. I'd rather see you all alive and die of old age.

I think almost everyone has had some sort of crutch once in their life, whether it be hardcore drugs, or caffeine. I really do not have a problem with that as long as people dont lose respect for the substance. I suppose that once in a blue moon is not that bad as long as you know your limit, unfortunately alot of people cannopt function without some kind of drug.
