I am new to the forum, my real name is Jay. I would like to introduce myself. I am 17 years old, and I work as a mobile DJ in Washington, for a mobile DJ company. My job is mostly setting up lighting for stage performances. I also own some of my own gear at home that I like to use for my own rock band. If you need any help on what equipment you should use/purchase for certain setups give me a shout.

Really though, Billy is a pretty good source for info. So as he said, what gear do you currently own? Also, are you looking for lights or audio?

Billy is also right about mentioning other manufacturers. It's not because we don't like them, or don't feel they make fine products as well, but because this forum is sponsored by ADJ/AA we don't want to spend our money to promote other companies, also there can be legal issues.
