Based on Hipnotiq's suggestion, I thought we should start a thread were everyone can post pics of their setups. There was an old thread around, but we'll sticky this so it doesn't get lost. I'll go first.

There will be a pic of the new home studio once the new gear arrives Wink

BTW, the top photo is me and the bottom one is DJ Rage and Lady Marie (my wife, Andrea). The ones in between are DJ Rage.

Yes, I fully admit that DJ Rage is one of my partners and a friend. He's a darn good DJ and we consider each other the brothers we didn't have.

Nice setup guys. BTW, Hypnotiq, it's not the size that counts. The big setup you see is for proms, and large shows of that nature. The first 2-3 pics are our typical show setups for weddings and such. That first pic, only takes 3 trips to the van and about 15-20 min total setup and tear down. And believe it or not has a pretty impressive wow factor for that light show.

Studio Panorama

It's ok, this should be pop-up free. It's a larger file, so it may take time to load.

I'll try and get a more recent picture up soon.

Insomaniac, how did you interface that drill press? Big Grin
I have the DJX-IIB, the 'beat box' version of your keyboard. Got some good sounds out of it.

lol

Actually, it's a slide maker. This room was built as a studio, but when we moved in, it became a "Workshop/Darkroom". That why there are all the tools. I'm sure you'll also notice that the Mbox kind of melded into the Eurorack.

There are some pics of the newer setup at my site, if you want to risk the pop-ups. I'll try and get the tripod back down here and make a new panorama.

Yeah, I love my DJX, but the MIDI just doesn't work, which is really starting to tick me off!!! Mad The IIB is a nice little box, i like the whol concept of it, but give me a 307 or a 909 any day!

< Not meaning to hijack thread, but...>

Yeah, the IIB was my start in 'gear lust'. I moved up to an EMU XL-7 Command Station. That thing rocks. Great sounds, great price. I recently got the Emu Emulator X sound card for the PC. No longer need any outboard gear. That thing does it all.

scrible,
Your web host gives a remote picture linking forbidden instead of your pics. If you want I can host those two pics and fix it if you want. Your other option would be just to post links to the imgages. And welcome to the forum. Smiler
