I just setup my domain and website, www.btkentertainment.com
It's still rough, not nearly done. I have to take some pictures this weekend. I'm just looking for feedback on the title at the top of the page. Can you see it? Does it display correctly? I did it using WordArt, and I just want to make sure it looks ok on different systems. Thanks! |

Hey Billabong,
Well done with the new web page, so far it appears ok from Australia - it looks good. Can I make a general suggestion - keep it simple and straight to the point with lots of info about your service, when I mean simple try keeping away from flash intros, databases and large images that take forever to load up. Always consider the poor dial-up user who has to sit there and wait for information - you can potentially lose business out of pure frustration from a poorly designed and slow web page. Good luck. Thanks guys! ROQ, good to see you back! It will be pretty basic (for now). I remember the pain of being on dial-up. Pictures will be on their own seperate page. I'm not that good with Flash, so it will be a while before I have a Flash intro (with the opt-out to skip, of course).
I know the red doesn't match, kinda did that on purpose to seperate the menus from the rest of it. Still playing around with what colors I want to use. All white is too plain these days. All black might be a possibility, maybe with some grey for the menus. When I tried to look at that graphic BC, it told me "Forbidden". I am going to try to turn the title into a JPG or GIF. |

let me CHMOD the picture to full access, thats why it didn't work. My game server does that sometimes.

It's cool, BC. I figured out that FrontPage saves it as a GIF anyway, so I just used that, without all of the WordArt fluff. Thank you, though! www.btkentertainment.com I made some changes, let me know how it looks! (Don't worry, this will only go on for the next week or three  ) |

Hey Billabong thanks for the shout out - its good to be back, your web page is coming along very nicely...well done. I use Front Page for all my web page creation and it works a treat - simple yet powerful software, you can't go wrong. MS Word is good for certain things but can I recommend Paint Shop Pro for any graphical work you are doing..especially for things like titles, animated GIFs and manipulating pictures, once you get used to it, you get professional results with minimum effort. Good luck man.
