I use them too! When I do outside night events, I string up the 'nightlight-size' bulbs around the inside of my tent. Lights up the whole tent, makes it alot easier to see & work. And it's better than trying to duct tape a lantern flashlight to the top of the tent! Smiler

After Christmas (when everything is on sale), I'm going to see if I can get some flashing rope lights cheap. To mount around my facade for school dances.

I'm always on the lookout to find a way to "Mac Guyver" everyday items into DJ use. Big Grin

You need to host your pics on a web site somewhere. then click the little image button under where you type new posts. When the script comes up for a new image you type in the full URL to the image.

I'm a light man, here's my small setup that I happen to like a lot. Tell me what you think and how I can improve it. I'm always open to suggestions...

Ypu, you are the only one. Frewebs does not allow direct linking. So just post links to the pics, and then people can get to them.

Hey, i know there are some questions about photo hosting, so here's a suggestion.

For free picture hosting, give the site photodump.com a try. I use it, and so do a few other people here. It's free and simple, so if you don't have the webspace to host your pictures, they can do it for you.

I just need to come up with a way of setting everything up faster... as it is it takes me a good hour to mount and wire up everything on that truss....any suggestions to cut setup time down? Also, can anyone see my avatar? Thanks guys

Nope, can't see avitar.

As far as making setup time faster...hire a roadie! Big Grin
Seriously, you just have to look at your system and find ways to streamline it.
You could *try* leaving your lights on the truss, but for scanners, not recommended. (I leave my cheap colorbanks on there, that's it).
Is your lighting controller (remote box) mounted on the truss? That you can should be able to leave on there, eliminating a step.
Actually, having an extra set of hands is the most help, I've found. By myself, it takes me about 45 minutes to bring everything in, and setup (without a truss!). With help, I can do it about the same time, with the truss setup.
