ok i need help and heres heres the deal.....

two artists working together but are from different labels.... both lables give the ok

question.... which label does the cd go under?? .....can it go under both and have it be a collab???.... does it even have to be under a label??... what problems do u guys think will come from this??

remember these are 2 small independent record companies..... and they both dont pay the artist to come out with an album.... they just give the artists free studio time and take care of promotion and what not.... AND another thing is that the 2 artist are not usin either companies studio, beats, help or anythin.... so what percentage do they get out cd if it comes out??... no contracts have been written yet...

any info or opinions will be much appreciated..

Indie's only get money if the publish the song. It is up to the artist to give the song to a label to put into print, and that company gets the money.

hhmmm.... interesting.... so what if the artists publish it themselves???
