I hate to break it to ya.. but those posts on ripping videos were posted by spam bots.. they will not read NOR reply to your posts

You are, of course, correct. Just the same, I would like to hang these clowns using the spam bots by their thumbs.

Have no fear though you two. i am on a daily basis blocking their IP's and deleting their membership. So no worries the admins are on it.

Blocking individual IP's is NOT the solution.

DO APNIC, RIPE, AFRINIC, LACNIC and ARIN lookups on the IP.

For safetly, just flat out block 41.0.0.0/8(anything taht starts with 41). That's Afrinic space, nuked it dead.

The Chinese and Asia in general are a massive infection of zombies. Might start with blocking Class C's or larger.

I get hit with spam bots that are trading my form around and abusing me with it. I'm looking to upgrade my Linux platform and I think that will give me a better version of PHP so I can use a script that I can integrate with a CAPTCHA system to stop the bots.

I think virtually any form or forum these days should use some sort of CAPTCHA-type system. Too many idiots feel the internet is there for them to abuse.

My domain of http://www.studio42.org is dedicated to anti-spam efforts. 303 spams this year. I'm tracking spam load involving places like Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo, China, Nigeria and other places. Some hit multiple places.
