Hey Stevie,
I'm not a major contributor to these forums, but the new layout has many security warnings from windows (anyone with service pack 2) where the main page is blocked because its not “secure” and every topic page has "blocked content" according to internet explorer. On top of this, the layout is not as clear as the old layout. For example, I can't figure out how check messages or update my profile...but I haven't been looking long. It’s my opinion, maybe I’m being too picky. What does everyone else think?

I agree with the warnings.

I agree the layout isn't the nicest.

I have lost my mod powers with the move, so I can't even try to see if I can fix anything.

I'm just a lowly user again.

It seems a little bright. Colors don't jive with me much. Layout is OK. I'd prefer to be able to read the thread I am replying to while actually replying, like the old forum, versus having to open it in a new window (thus more clutter).

I get security warnings too.

We'll see. I'm still adjusting to it.

Best,
-Tech

Thanks for the tip. I kept going to the old site through my Favorites.
Yeah, what's with this "snakeoil.dom" security warning?
The layout is ok. Colors are...eh.
We need to work on a few things.

Just noticed this thread. I didn't realize the forum had been back up this long. Also it's not just me with a security message everytime you move. I guess this is a work in progress. Stevie what's wrong with being a regular powerless member like me. Then again having powers on the other thread does feel good.... Big Grin Oh well there is plenty room for improvement here. Cool

this is kinda weird...I agree, I don't like the colors, or the lack of everything else mentioned.

Also would've been nice if someone had informed us that the forum was moved!

a big thanks goes out to jingles for giving me and a few others the ehads up.

Anytime jingles! Smiler

ADJ Powers-that-be...if you're reading this, please help us restore this community to what it once was. We need a more functional forum. This was a great site for DJs and LJs to hang out at, share info, and help each other. We had a good community of regulars who were always around to lend a hand. This forum was a big help when I first started as a DJ, and it still was up until about a month ago.
Please, do not let this forum slip by the wayside! It is a great tool for ADJ customer support, marketing, and product development. All I ask is you examine other Message Board products and find one a little more user friendly than this one.

Thanks!

Here I thought the forum was still down, since I kept checking (as a loyal ADJ supporter would) using my "favorites". Well I'm glad I found our community still exists. I agree that the forum needs some work...and no I do not want to display the nonsecure items.
