Hey all! I just thought it might be cool to share some stuf about our diff music libraries...what are you all spinning out there? How much music do you have? Are you all digital? I have my own company and I also work for a larger dj company here in san diego and I have just inherited our new musci library. We are all digital and have about 120+ gigs of music. About 80,000 titles all at my fingertips. We are also making some really cool stuff popular now with music videos as apart of many of our events so our digital music video library is up to around 500 music videos. Pretty insane huh??? How bout all of you??

What's up AMP? I need to be on your payrole. I am in San Diego too.
As far as music goes I play Hip Hop, R&B, Reggeaton, Salsa,Drum and Bass. My music ranges all the way back to the 50's, 60's. Thanks to the platinum series. I play at the club on friday's on base where I work in Miramar. I also do a couple Marine Corps Balls each year. Which cater to all types of music for both young and old. I also do about 2-4 reception each year. I'm in the Marine Corps so the mobile side doesn't get alot of business. Cool

All of my music is on flat round things that you put in another thing and sound comes out. I don't trust those computin' machines.

I have stuff from Big Band to todays top 40 (thanks TM Century). School dances to block parties, and everything in between. I spin whatever they want to hear. Smiler

No video yet. It's still too expensive to do it right (the Pio system).

We use mostly digital, but still have the old CD players for backup. Only 19k songs on the hard drive right now though. Sam Party DJ supposedly starts acting funny when you get more than 50,000 songs. If we were to put all our music on the drive instead of lug cd's around we'd have close to that.

Video? Hmm, in my area that wouldn't sell very much. We have hard enough trouble getting people to k-roke me (Karoake), guess they aren't dedicated enough drunks to sing.

I'm all digital, the use of a laptop makes life so much easier. It's wicked stable and has never failed me.

I've only got about 2000 songs, but i really only do school events, plus the selection is so diverse that pretty much anything can be covered.
