I liked it, it shows potential, but yeah, maybe a little less of the erie background, use pieces, instead of a continuous loop of it. Also a little more of a driving beat, that would make the breakdown and build up more dramatic also. I thought it started getting better at the build up, since I'm a progressive trance fan, and the build up kind of had that feel to it.

yeah, this is more for me to play around with some new sounds and loops i just got. I may end up doing some remixes of it later, but in truth, it's just more of a "screwing around" track than anything.

yeah, i found that the beginning was too long, but i didn't need the hassel of fixing it (GarageBand is just a pain like that at times). I liked the buildup too, that was probably the hardest part, especially recording the arpegiator. this particular style isn't my forte, and i'm hoping that i can get more onto the same track with "Try" and "Unkon", just with better sounds and improved parts.

thanks for the feedback (Rhue, i'd be interested in hearing what you could do with it)

DJ Insomaniac,

Nice..I like the dark sound. My favorite is Unkon...very atmospheric electronica...If your felling generous, I'd love to get MP3s of all 3 tracks.

You can hit me up at brian@americandj.com

I mainly stick to Reason, although Unkon and the latest had Apple's GarageBand worked into it (ReWire).

I'm also working on LIVE, which is just a crazy peice of software.

I've also finally gotten the full version of Reason, and upgrade from the Adapted version, and am working learning all of that.

so expect something soon... Big Grin

Video music, AMP? Well, now that you mention it, very likely...

BTW, there is some of my older material, made with ACID style on my mom's old Dell (before I got the studio up). That can be found here.

thanks, man, and welcome back.

Yeah, i've never felt like i've been able to beat Try, in terms of, well, everything. Roll Eyes

I've decided that Try is going to be almost completely reworked, so look for that soon, but in the meantime, tell me what you think of the latest (finishing it as i type this) Fluidation.

This is the first song i've done since i got the full version of Reason, so i'm pretty happy about it Big Grin

I like the beginning! Cool pad sound, too.
Maybe add some more depth to that crash at about 2:00 min into it, and the one towards the end.
I'd like to hear the kick a little stronger. Maybe it's just my weak speakers, though.
Very mellow. Right now, I'm in a 'fast music' phase, so this was a tad slow for me. Smiler Today anyway. Next week, who knows?
Overall, nice job Insomaniac!
