I just picked up the new BLUR C.D.,Don't know why I did. I guess a few of their song's intriege me a bit. Anyhow their new disc has only 2 good songs on it, just like all their other discs in my opinion. The first song "CRAZY BEAT" is full tilt bozo crazy. I'm sure this one will make it to the radio stations. If you liked "Song #2" then you'll love this one, even more energetic. You could really mess around, and play with this song and come up with some real bada$$ mixes.
The second song is just a pretty cool song, more for your own listening pleasure. That one's called "BROTHERS AND SISTERS"
Rest of the disc,,,,,,,,,Yawnnnnnnnnnn...
Cool Cool Cool

Well, let's see here now Smiler

Blur is Damon Albarn, Alex James, Graham Coxon and Dave Rowntree.

And Quoting from another place:
"A unique phenomenon, Gorillaz is best described as a multi-national virtual hip-hop group comprising the fictional characters 2D (vocals/keyboards), Murdoc (bass), Russel (drums) and Noodle (guitar). The prominent brains behind the outfit are Dan "The Automator" Nakamura, Blur's Damon Albarn and the cartoonist Jamie Hewlett, creator of the cult Tank Girl. Other contributors include Miho Hatori, and Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth of Tom Tom Club"

So it looks like Albarn from Blur did have a hand in making the Gorillaz, but not the other Blur band members.

Just a little bit of FYI,
Will

I always like finding out all of the music "scuttlebutt" that I can, since I usually find it interesting. It's even fun to use some of it at parties as trivia, and to give away cd's for correct answers (I gave away The Daredevil Soundtrack cd's at one party, and the kids loved it -- even if all they wanted was the Evanescence song off of it).
