Best bet is to watch MTV/Fuse, listen to local hip-hop stations (or check their website play lists), and take notes!

This is where the monthly subscription comes in way handy. I'm actually buying less CDs since I've subscribed to ERG, and I still have all the hits that make the kids skip.

Yep, gotta love dem subscription services. I too have not been going to the record store as much as I used to. I get so much new stuff every month that it's even hard to keep track of and know exactly what I have half the time. Someone at a gig will ask for something, I don't think I have it until I look through my catalogue and see that I actually do have it. Every DJ should subscribe. It actually works out cheaper than buying from the store.

Not me Dogg, the kiddies. 50, Chingy, "Get Low" is all they ask for. To me, 50 is played out. I've been groovin on Kanye and Outkast lately.

Actually, I'm really digging The Darkness. Nice to see 80's hair-bands are making a come back! Or at least trying!
