I know I've seen some people here post about having a subscription to music services that send you CD's of new songs; what are some good subscription services, what kind of prices do they charge, are they worth having???

For pricing you would have to contact the services themselves, 3 of the services that I use and higly recommend in no particular order are ERG Music , Promo Only and X-Mix . It all really depends on what you are looking for.

In my opinion the best "mainstream" format cd's go to ERG by far, as thier cd's are just that mainstream. There's a few rock, rap, r&b, country songs to choose from and more, plus there's 2 discs per month. Thier Urban series is also very good, at getting tracks that seem to be missing from other services. I also use thier Dance and Import series, which I also recommend!.
Promo Only, has multiple series also, and again, good people there running the show, Mainstream series can annoy once in a while with some songs that seem to be "filler" cuts, but usually on the ball, thier urban has missed some tracks on occasion, but that's not thier fault, and you do save money in the long run however you look at it. The Mainstream club series is also good from these guys, though a lot of the songs aren't mobile friendly, with the long breaks, and thier new UK Club Beats and UK Underground Beats are very impressive!
As far as X Mix goes, thier Radioactive series are Great! They released an urban radioactive series in August and I love it, The radioactive rythm radio has a lot of tracks you don't seem to get from anyone else either, very helpful. . . as for the dance ane regular urban series, they can be useful, but In my opinon, too much extra mixed into the songs.

Really, there's no way you can go wrong by choosing one or all of the above services, I use, and recommend ALL of them. Sure you may get a few tracks repeated, you WILL I mean, but less worry, if you have to lend one to someone or scratch one.

Excellent! Thank you clipuptags! Smiler I'm going to check into them right now. I see the Promo Only site isn't working, but I'll check the other two.

Heres the link to promo only Promo Only there was a comma put in the other one accidently.

I subscribe to Promo only Mainstream, Urban, and Rock.

When I was searching for the right one I found out that ERG sometimes are not always on the edge with songs as promo only is and that they use some of the older songs to fill there second cd each month.

With the promo only urban series I find a some remixs and songs that seem to be fillers but they can be pretty good sometimes. Smiler Smiler
