So how does everyone get their tunes?

For me.

Subscriptions
TM Century Prime Cuts
Select Mix

Brick&Mortar
Sound Check Records in Lehighton, PA (I buy anything older I don't have, or anything that I need that doesn't come by subscription.)

Downloads
Beatport - for some Trance
iTunes if soundcheck can't get what I need in time.

TM Century for the sub.

Mother's Music in Deer Park for vinyl/CDs.

Wal-Mart downloads in a pinch (they're clean edits).

walmart, music warehouse, best buy and the usual pawn shops for old stuff..... funkymix was good but they do a little too much so i do my own remixes(intros/breaks/outros) and whatnot...

We also have a very cool independent used CD store here that I do a lot of business with. He has saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years.

I also have some excellent sets that I have purchased from Time - Life but boy are they expensive if you buy them ond disc at a time! Believe it or not though, they are worth it.

I have been known to go to Wally World or Hastings if I am in a bind. It really tweeks me to pay full retail , though.

A lot of times , particularly for weddings where they want some off the wall song that I will probably never use again (first dance usually), I will have my wife download it off the internet for me. She has a place that is 100% legal and songs are 79 cents each.

denjev,
We do not support, condone, or even think about peer to peer sharing around here, unless you are the orignal author/artist of the music you wish to share. Unfortunately it is the law around here.
