Big & Rich - Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy) [Dance Mix]
Funny song, bringing Country more mainstream.
The remix is faster than the original, and I think you'd even get non-country people to dance to it.
I'll let you know how it goes after next weekend.

Tiesto - Just Be...
High bpms around the 140-150 range and great intros and outros to make mixing a whole lot easier. The song itself is ocmplemented by great vocals and music which will keep the crowd jumping. One would expect no less form Tiesto. Wink

My new favorite track is "The Joker" remix by Fatboy Slim. Such a great spin with country aspects, yet feels like a danceable song. check it out definately.

Well, I tried out "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" at a high school dance. It didn't go so well. Frowner
I went to it right out of "Cotten Eye Joe", trying to keep with the country theme, rather than drop it out of nowhere.
I'm still going to give this song a shot with the "older crowd".

Ah well, you'll never know unless you try!

- RO, that track is great! Plus I'm a big Steve Miller fan, too. Norman never ceases to amaze me, I love his stuff. I have to pick up Palookaville (new album) soon.

That beatport site is pretty cool! I think I will start using it.
Other than that, TM Century is where I get my tracks now. And I picked up an Ultimix disc recently.
