Her you go. A new mix showing what can be accomplished with a couple of PS2's.

The first two mixes are for fans of creativity.
The next couple are for our R&B/Hip Hop fans
The last third demonstrate some more hip hop and scratching. I was getting a little crazy during the last track, so some of it's a little off the deep end, but I was just having fun playing around at this point.

1) Toxic - Britney Spears 3:44 144
2) Someday - Nickelback 7:47 81.5
3) One Call Away - Chingy 12:14 81.5
4) You Don't Know My Name - Alicia Keys 17:40 84
5) Wanna Get To Know You - G Unit feat. Joe 22:46 84
6) Dirt Off Your Shoulder - Jay-Z 27:10 82
7) Tipsy - J-Kwon 31:29 93
8) Gangsta Nation - Westside Connection 36:55 95
9) Bang Bang Boom - Drag-On 41:12 96
10) Work It - Nelly feat. Justin Timberlake 45:56 97
11) Yeah - Usher feat. Ludacris & Lil' Jon 50:33 105
12) I'm Really Hot! - Missy Elliot 115

I was moved.......Well last time I posted a mix in the "Record Crate" section, and the guys were joking around that it should be under turntablism.

Well anyway there have been 21 d/l's and no feedback? Anyone listen yet, what do you think?

Thanx for the comments. I was just playing around. And everytime I get the time to mess around, I will record it so I can hear what I'm doing and know what I have to work on. If you noticed the longer into the session I got, the braver I got with what I was attempting, some of it worked and some of it didn't.

Note: By braver that meant I had a couple of beers in me

I don't know how the guys who work in clubs can drink, and still perform like they do.

I know when I listen to my own scratching, I'm also like Ew sometimes, and sometimes it comes out OK. I have been spinning for 14 years, and when I started it was mostly Miami freestyle, all about the beatmix, so I never learned how to scratch. I have heavy hands, and when I would try to scratch on vinyl I would make the needle hop everywhere. So it wasn't until recently when the Pro-Scratch 1's came out that I tried to start scratching. I am also not very quick with a crossfader, so I only try to "baby scratch". Thanks again for the constructive criticism, that's why I posted it. I want to hear comments, and a little advice. It's the only way to get better.

Good mix! You did get a little funky at the end...watch the Labatt's. Wink

One critique (and I have the same problem): Getting scratches the same volume level as what's playing, so it sounds like part of the song, not just thrown on top of it.

I liked the Toxic-Someday transition.
