I am a DJ/musician from Liverpool, England. 4 weeks ago I was approached by a hotel to take on several corporate xmas parties in a massive marquee. 'Make the customers feel amazed' was the brief. So, the journey begins. This section of the story is not for the feint hearted. I have learned to make backing tracks, produce video footage and motion loops and finally link all this to a lightshow which includes 8 mega panels, 2 mega bars, 3 lasers, 2 i colours, my dmx and box of paracetemol!! (software used is adobe audtion, photoshop, premier pro, after effects, divx and of course MY DMX). My first show starts this friday, my front room looks like 'vegas by night', my eyes look like gollum from the Lord of the Rings... BUT, piece by piece my masterpiece comes together, as i find each profile in MY DMX they come to life, all of a sudden this fairytale is becoming a reality. I have been inspired by the youtube videos for uplighting and stage lighting (thanks guys). As I write this story, my room lights up to the sounds of 'jeff waynes war of the worlds', the screen shows the huge silver machines attacking and all of the sudden, my fairytale dream has turned in to a reality... My dreams of producing something amazing with a little budget have been made possible with these fantastic affordable LED lights from ADJ, my fairy godmothers so to speak. This is not about money (as i have spent all my earnings due on the lights)this is about making the impossible possible so lets hope this story has a happy ending.... to be continued
