WHAT UP?!?!?!?!? Anywho, its been awhile.... So i finally did get tables and a mixer, and now i'm starting to experiment and learn how to scratch by myself, with one problem though.... when i'm doing like something fast like a chirp or hydroplane, the needle skips and ends up on something that i didn't want. I've already set the weight on the needle up pretty high... I'm thinking that it might be the meatle shelf on wheels that i have it on is not stable enough... Any ideas???

Thanks,
DJ Oz (new name)

Welcome back OZ. I would suggest a more stable table. I got a four foot plastic table from Staples (office supply store) for like $30. Light weight, yet very stable.

Welcome back Oz,
What kind of tables did you get? The biggest contributing factor to needles skipping is the cart/needle/table not being set up correctly. So let us know what table/cart/needle you have and we'll help. Don't mention if it's another brand, just give the model number. Also computer desks work well for gear. For under $100 you can get a nice v shaped desk with lots of room for your gear.
