My current favorite would have to be a little trick I currently call the "scratch speed sampler".

To perform:

1)Cue your song at the begging of your sample.
2)Assign that saple to one of the flash buttons.
3)Put the ps1 in scratch mode, paused.
4)Press the flash button to cue the sample.
5)Rotate the jog forward to play the sample
6)Press the flash button in tempo to restart the sample.
7)Have fun!
