Sorry for the newb question, but I gotta ask it and there's no newbie forum so you're stuck with me Wink

I just wanted to know how you all dold the crossfader when scratching. I know that it may depend on the type of scratches you do, but for the most part, how do you move the crossfader? when doing a forward or backward for example? Or how about doing click flares?

Do you hold firmly the crossfader with the tumb on one side and your pointing finger on the other?

holding the crossfader is all personall preference, based on utility. It all depends on what your trying to do.

Personally, I use my thumb for pressure, and drum with my pointer and middle fingers. If i'm crabbing, I drum with all my fingers.

Experiment, and find what is the most comfortable and usefull to you.
