Sorry for the newb question, but I gotta ask it and there's no newbie forum so you're stuck with me
I just wanted to know how you all dold the crossfader when scratching. I know that it may depend on the type of scratches you do, but for the most part, how do you move the crossfader? when doing a forward or backward for example? Or how about doing click flares? Do you hold firmly the crossfader with the tumb on one side and your pointing finger on the other? |

holding the crossfader is all personall preference, based on utility. It all depends on what your trying to do.
Personally, I use my thumb for pressure, and drum with my pointer and middle fingers. If i'm crabbing, I drum with all my fingers. Experiment, and find what is the most comfortable and usefull to you. |
