i just got a pro mix and.....i love it...but..just curious what a PRO thinks of the scratching on it? all i have ever been interested in was beatmixing. BUT the other day i was watching something on mtv and there was mixmaster mike doing that "Tom Sawyer" thing..and i had to try it...its alot harder than i thought, i cant really get the pro mix to do what a turntable will...mabee its me???
thanks man..oh yeah...just thought youd like to know...you ROCK! |

The Scratching on the Pro Mix is cool to do backspins... thats what i would use it for. The scratching technology on the pro mix is the same has the PS1... It's not all there but it will get the job done if you use it the right way. Did you see Mixmaster Mike use a Pro Mix to do what you wanna try? If you didn't then you might have a harder time achieving your goal. Thank you for the kind words. |

I was once in a Battle Mixmaster Mike judged in Cleveland, Ohio. He also did a 30 minute set. That Tom Sawyer thing is pretty tight and he does it on 2 turntables. If you ever get a chance to see him live, it is definately worth it. He kept me bouncing for his whole 30 minute set. He is a definate showman and one of the best, with skill out of this world!
