Bedroom DJ |
Dj Skills and all you other Dj's,
I've been djing for almost two years I can do a lot on vynil and CD. I've bought a pair of PS 1 a few months ago. I really need help with the scratching techniques. I don't know how and where to lean new tricks using the PS1. Is there a site or something that teeches you how to digital scratch, or specifically how to scratch on the PS1 ?? I heard a few people talk about a video of yours that demonstrates some of your work on PS1, can I get this video from somewhere? One last thing, you guys that have good scratching capabilities on PS1 can you post links to downloadable sound files that include scratches??? I know I'm asking a lot, but I'm really eager to improve my skills in digital scratching. Thx in advance |

Of course you know that the PS1 was the first CD player to come out in the world with Real Time CD scratching. And of course you know that the scratching ont he PS1 is not exactly accurate, so it's going to be harder to execute scratches on there. If you really just want to to simple scratches on the PS1, all you have to do is pause the sound you want to scratch, and then you start scratchen the sound in big strokes. That will give you alot of fader cutting time. But if you really want to improve your digital scratching ability, then i highly recommend you getting the PS2. The PS2 is accurate, and your be more creative with the scratching. It's not expensive, and it does alot more. |
