last the longest depends on how well you take care of them. TDK and Mitsui have higher reflection rates and will give you the best results with the nod going to the either the Mitsui Gold or Silver. . . . if a disc is cheap and comes at an incredibly low price, there's usually a reason.

Theoretically Gold CDR's are supposed to have the longest archive life. Going to 100 years by some tests. But as Tags said you still must take care of them.

I use Sony CD-R Audio disc (you can get them at Staples). They work great! Just make sure you read the label and make sure the audio discs are "Orange Book Part 2". ).

I've also been using the Sony Audio CD-Rs with very good results. Burn slow! Man, I'll never get rid of my HP 9100! Big Grin
TDKs have been good too.

And is it me, or is it getting harder to find blank CD-Rs with full-size cases?
