Hello,
I could have sworn that I read somewhere that the PS2s have a BPM counter on them. I bought a pair, and I can see the unlit BPM counter icon on the displa, but it doesn't seem to be working. There is nothing in the documentation on it either... so do these players, or do these players not have a BPM counter?

Yes the the display has an icon that says BPM it was there incase they ever added BPM to those they would have to change the displays. But now the QMX2 mixer has bpm counter on instead.
This is a common miss understanding the feature was a incase.

No there's no bpm on the Pro Scratch 2, and no there's no bpm on the QD5, it's a purebred battle mixer. . . there is a bpm counter on the QMX2BPM and on shhhhh "velocity" Smiler

Come on Rhue why you beatin' me up? Remember I use the Pro Scratch 2's no bpm counter. I hear what your sayin'. It was just a question bro' chill. Now we can debate for a while on wome things, lets just not let it get out of hand. I don't want to get banned again. Big Grin Razzer Hey bro I'm with you, I'm just really wondering about some of the features of the QD-5. I have yet to get an American Audio mixer and believe me, my eyeballs Eeker are on the mixer and the new velocity when it comes out. Cool

Rhue:
Agreed a jock has to know how to use the talent given him to the fullest. If you are a good beat mixer the right tools make it easier for you to be at your best. BPM gives you a structure to follow for mixing within a given range
(IE: + - 6-8 bpm). Test yourselves: (1) to see if you can tell when you're AHEAD or BEHIND the Beat (2) Do you Start the Mix on Count (IE: 4,8,16,32,etc.) this is good practice.

There are Scratch Jocks that amaze me too the hand movement speed n sync are incredable.
