Ok, is the PS1 compatible with all CDR's? Since the PS1 does not scratch in real time, how does one juggle a beat, or scratch effectively? Also, can I use a vestax/stanton mixer with these?

The PS1, PS2, and PSX are all cd-r cd rw compatible. Only the PS2 has realtime scratching. The PS1 you will have to learn to manipulate the unit to make it scratch, your best results on the PS1 would be in the pause mode. Beat juggling is another option on the PS2 but for the PS1 you would have to have quick hands and know how to drum a rythm with the cue buttons and play buttons. . if that makes sense. . . and lastly you can use any mixer with line/cd inputs with any cd player.
