Does anyone know the difference between a VCF-fader and a VCA-fader, or isn't there any?

they are the same, VCA is the technology while VCF is the name other manufacturers are giving the faders, it means voltage control and therfore no audio signal is passing through the fader so you get better control of crosstalk(signal leakage)
