There's A CD called Phat Samples, that has like 80 actual scratch samples on it, but yah DJ Skilz Scratch Trax Vol. 1 and 2 are great for effects, backbeats, etc..Which you can scratch. Anyways Phat Samples is available @ Mambo Sound, 562.599.2590. Dunno if they have a website. Peace.

I think what our buddy "equinox" is trying to say is,
If you can scratch something w/ your PS2
and record it, so he can listen what other's are
avaible to do w/ the players, besides Skilz and the other Pro's.

Cause its true I can find no where,
samples or small clips of others using
the PS2'.
Thats if you guys want to share some of your skills.

Hope I got "equinox" question?

If I only could.....
I want to know how I can get music into my computer without spending a small fortune on a soundcard. I would be more than happy to upload some of my stuff. If any of you guys could give me some ideas on how to get the music into my computer I would greatly appreciate it. I am sure I am going to need some software as well. I would need ideas on that too. The sound card I am using now is a SB Audigy XGamer.

Thanks,
J@CK@$$

J@ck,

You'll need a cable to go from the output of your mixer, into your soundcard.
The soundcard should have a 1/8" stereo phono jack. The mixer should be RCA jacks. So, head to Shadio Rack and get a '1/8" stereo phono plug to stereo RCA plugs cable'. The RCA side should be red and white to match up to your mixer.

That takes care of the physical connection. Next, you will need some software. The Audigy may or may not have come with some basic sound recording software. If not, you can do a search on the Internet for some free/shareware recording stuff. Or, search this board, it's been mentioned a few times.
If you can spend the $$$ (or find a copy from a friend), check out Cubase. I use it, it rocks.

Good luck,
Bill

Bill;
Thanks alot. I am going to radio shack in a few. I thought I needed rca's on my soundcard and the manual said the same thing you did. I will try to get the software you mentioned.

Thanks again,

That 1/8 in connection is plugged into the microphone input or is there another input spot? Confused I've been putting off putting something in my computer because I never took the time to try this out. But I'll put some stuff on as soon as I'm connected. Cool
