I agree, although there is another company selling almost the exact same thing, and they claim theirs is the most advanced ever, but I would have to side with AA on this one. Wink

Yes there is another TT that's similar, for 150 bucks more you get a key lock that is not dead on accurate, and a digital out through an A/D converter. . . .big whopdie doo! What it all comes down to is prefrence, not everyone needs 4.5 kg of torque, people seem to think it's only for turntablists, this is not the case. . . any dj can benefit from a higher torque motor, it's funny you mention that stevie, there's someone from that companys website that has been claiming that the tonearm and the pitch on the htd isn't accurate, would that not then hold true for thiers as well??? Interesting. . . .

You want the scoop on the TT, what you should do is go out and try each one, find one that fits your budget and style. Simply put, it is a well functioning and great looking turntable. It is built like a tank.

As it is true that a straight arm will reduce skipping, it isn't true that you can't scratch or battle on an S arm. . . . take a look at EVERY single DMC champion and tell me if they are using straight arm tables in competition Wink

Better has yet to be proven, as I said, check the DMC finals, semi finals etc. . . I have yet to see a straight arm tt in there, so it's really just another marketing standpoint. While i will agree it does add downforce, it doesn't mean you won't skip
