Can someone give me pointers on scratching with the ps2? I am having problems with like when you release a scratch and drag it back, how far around the platter should I grab to catch the sample? Also what do the parameters for scratching do?

My suggestion to you is to check out the CDI 500.. at least you'll be able to see the visual indicator so that you can follow your scratches.

If you want to scratch on the ps2 all you have to do is just scratch with the unit on PAUSE.. so that the sample doesn't run away from you.

The answer to your last questions is "Nothing". It might just mess with the skid control.

follow ur scratches: know where the sample starts and ends by looking at the indicator on the lcd screen, so when u drag a sample back u know where it starts and where it ends so u dont drag it back too far or not far back enough. its just like how people put tape on vynle. and yes, it helps to know where ur sample is...

hope this helps.

and mah bad skilz Big Grin Big Grin
