Does anyone know what this set sells for?

I see you have gone to the appropraite website and asked the question there. NO one really can tell you that here. Besides that system hasn't sold in about 10 years. You would have to buy it individually. I'm sure the other site would know more about those products though.

Well I will do my research, but I'm pretty sure that it was around 94' that I saw the package deal from those guys. Any way you should know some things you just don't get rid of. Those things can be very valuable. One mans trash is another mans treasure.....

Sorry for venting guys, I'm just a little disillusioned with AA at the moment. There was a time when you used to get 10-20 responses to a post like this. This place is like a Ghost-Town. Apart from Stevie Ray, you never hear from AA admins (employees) anymore. There are no new AA products or innovations and nothing significant from AA to rave about anymore.

Our local AA supplier, Lightsounds in Australia used to have AA products as their main product line, almost 95% of the total product line including lighting was AA. Now they are only like 10%-20% of the product line. What does this say about AA? Have they abandoned the industry or perhaps focussing on other business? What's happened with AA is all I want to know?

haven't you heard about the new powered subs and speakers? or if that isin't new to you, ADJ has released a ton of new lighting gear. My guess is AA is in the development stage of new lines of products right now, it's very hard to be constantly releasing new gear consistently throughout the year.

RO I understand your point, but powered subs and speakers aren't exactly an innovative or new technology. When AA released their APX speakers I think nearly 4 years ago, we screamed out for AA to release some subs soon after. Sure they were just released but as far as I'm concerned that's 4 years too late. As for the lighting, yeah great, they get released in the US but we can't even buy most of them here in Australia. The ones that do make it to AU are already 6-12 months old from the original release date.

My venting has more to do with AAs CD and Mixer technology output, it stopped just over 12 months ago after the release of the CDI range, since then, bubkis. We can't mention them but I've seen other manufacturers releasing new CD and Mixer technology on a regular basis over this past year, AA on the other hand has simply stopped in comparison.

Like you RO, my hope is that AA has been working in the backgroud, gearing up to hit us hard with a completely new range of mind blowing, must-have CD and Mixer technology.

Dj RO really what we all are saying is we are patiently waiting for something new from AA. We are a few of their loyal fans and consumers. We would like to see AA do something new to say they are still in it to win. We are looking for the next new thing to master. We believe AA has so much potential but is just not getting there fast enough. One of the biggest things we are looking for are new cd players and battle mixers as well as 12" mixers. Yes new stuff has come out but really hasn't progressed much. The new line of speakers are off the hook but why didn't we come out with a 18" to compliment the 15's? Come on......we are patiently waiting. Now that I have time off from gigs and work this week I have time to look at my gear and see what needs to be replaced and AA doesn't have much else to offer......

Anyway what does any of this have to do with turntablism? Tigr could you move this to the General section so people can rant on.

Also Tigr I'm going to bump some old threads of interest to try and get a little more activity in this section.

Why doesn't AA want to take our money anymore? My pockets are getting full and I want to empty them. I hope there will be something from AA under the christmas tree this year.
