im a n00b at TTin and i want some help. i found some places with tutorials and even a place that has a video on how to do it but some reason i try to imitate that exact same scratch (for instance transforming) it just doesnt sound like other places. i dont know if its becuase of my mixer. btw its a very crappy mixer but i have some pretty good TT's im probably gonna a new mixer mayb Q2221 soon

If you want to do scratching.. i recommend the Q-MX2BPM or the Q-MX1 Mixer. Those i find excellent for scratching.

well i saw those mixers in the site. a lil bit outta my price range. actually way above my price range.

i hear crossfaders for american dj mixers wear out quick

Wrong, Our mixers today are extremely advanced from what we had in the past. I have been scratching with the Q mixers for over a year now, and i never had to replace the mixer. It's still good as new. Trust me.. you get what you pay for.
