I have a friend who wants to start djing (scratching) and is looking for a small pakage. I looked on your website and found the DJ Toolkit 1. My friend is intersted in that pakage because of the price. He has 2 questions. Are the TTD-250T MKII good TT's and would it be a good starter pakage? Thanks

I would say yes. It really depends on what he wants to do...

Thanks but he isin't sure what he wants to do. He wanted to do scratching but now he wants to do beat match like me. He might buy the pro dj 1 system or the DJ Toolkit 1. Which ever one he choses, it will be american dj. Smiler Smiler

well, maybe you should just build your own package... maybe with a turntable and a ps1, and which ever he likes he should get 2 of...

first and foremost, the best tt to start out with is one that the user feels most comfortable with. second, it is most likely made by a respectable, tried-and-true company. and imo, the tt (or any equipment) should NOT be the cheapest you can find. remember that money spent now will pay off in the long run as you won't have to upgrade your equipment as often.

I think any starter kit is good because they are usually priced afortebly. but if you have the money and think you are serious about this. do yourself a favor and get the industries standard quality. ask a few questions and not to people trying to sell you equipment!
