Hopefully, the title of the thread is enough. Smiler

What's good to use? Do you need really expensive store bought stuff, or are there things around the house you can use?

I use D4 Discwasher. Have for 16 years good stuff, and comes with a nice "brush" that doesn't scratch the vinyl. Bill I can even give you a brush, as I have a couple .... Smiler

If you have a good disc brush you could allways use armour all. Heck they are "vinyl" after all.

I use a cotton cloth and ant-static eye glass cleaner. Works great.

I take a large soft terry cloth bath towel and spread it out on a table. Then I take a soft terry cloth wash rag and run hot water on it til it is soaked. I squeeze out the excess water and then lay the record on the towel and run the hot damp rag round and round on the disc (go with the grain). Flip it over & repeat. Then I take a dry soft terry cloth wash rag and repeat the roundy round action. I have LP's that I have owned for 40 years that are stil playable and sound good.

Alcohol and soft toilet paper will do for spot cleaning in a pinch.

You know for some reason I pulled the ol' turntables out. I paired them with my QD-5. Oh yeahhh.... Big Grin Big Grin The info for cleaning the vinyl was cool. I had been playin the cd's so long I totally forgot about those cleaning options. I need to get some new carts, and slipmats this weekend. Maybe do some digging at the store downtown......hopefully the wife doesn't trip.... Big Grin
