Hey i was just wondering what what type of sounds are good for scratching? eg. voice, sound fx, music, what? Can u help me. thankyou.

What you need are Scratch Samples. The same stuff you get out of a battle record.

Where can i get these samples from? is there a website i can order from? because im in Australia and there are only a few places i know that sell dj gear and i wouldn't have a clue if they sold scratch samples.

If you have programs like NAPSTER, or anything that is close to that. Try downloading stuff like that, just type on EFFECTS under your search, and usually you'll find a bunch of cool FX. That is what i do when i need some cool sounds. Or just go out and buy a battle record that contains all those effects, and record them into your computer, and save them for future use.
