Hey I was wondering how the digital scratching on the pro mix mp3 controller was. Is it close to the PS2? Does it truely manipulate the music? Does it do a significant job to impersonate a turntable?

Thanks you guys and anyother info or opinions you have on it please tell.

You dont need a Mixer with that. It has its own crossfader. If you want to use it with you mixer. I believe you can use both the channels seperately(not too sure on that) or combined(dead sure with this).

Cheers

i own both the pro mix and the ps2 and if your trying to get into scratching go the ps2 route the pro mix in my opinion is only good for backspins and then still doesnt sound as good

that said the pro mix is still a good buy for playing mp3's its conveniant but theres always the fear of your computer freezing
this has happend to me more than once while playing gigs so you should always have a seperate cd player cued up and ready to go just in case
hope this helps
peace
