I've got a Groovemaster II that I love, but the stylus price is more than new carts, so i'm in the market. Since i'm in the market for a 2nd cart (they gave me headshell when i got my 2nd TT), i may just go for a 2-for (like 500 AL IIs or something like that).

If you go with the 500 sereies, go with the 520's the lack of fullness will get on your nerves with the 500's. I stopped using them because they lack serious low end and overall volume. Just look at their ratings.

Yeah, thanks on those 520s, they do output louder. Still, that groovemaster rocks, although i'm liking the sounds of the new 890 FS stuff!

Ended up snaggin a pair of Trackmaster II RS, they're just like my Groovemaster, but they have a ***y case and the stylus is a bit cheaper
