Also to add a few facts based on hands on experience. . . . the Velocity effects are easily adjustable with ONE pre set parameter button for each effect while the 9 requires multiple combinations. . . . also the display on the axis 9 is no longer blue, it is now red to cut down on the cost.
The best suggestion TRY before you BUY. |

Yes do what Clip said "Try before you buy". I think you won't be dissapointed at the Velocity, and you will be happy to know you saved some money. Also the Velocity is packed with alot more, as you saw above...

Swordface,
1st the PS2 or CDI-500 is a more accurate comparison to the Axis-9. With the velocity you get a dual deck (read 2 players for 8-9 bills, whereas you get one axis-9 for about 4-5 bills). Which is very similiar in price. I see you live about 1/2 hour away. Maybe we can get together sometime, and I can help you figure things out. I don't have a Velocity here, but I have 2 PS2's, and they are very similiar (except remember the Velocity has a couple more bells and whistles.) Let me put it this way, if you go with the Velocity..... 1st) You won't be dissappointed. 2nd) You have a local "friend" with ADJ/AA, so if you have any problems, I will be sure to take care of you. |

Man this thread gives me a headache with how wide you have to scroll. Bonger I am heading up to the big apple Thursday-Sunday, maybe we can get together this weekend. Also, just found out I am heading to Boston next week, so I won't be around when your in town. I'll give you a call.
